Price $45.00.

I would love to make some up for anyone that is interested. If interested contact me at benandsydney@gmail.com and let me know your favorite colors, hobbies and I will design a purse according to the information you provide. If you like one of the ones already posted I have the supplies to make most all of them again except the one with the yellow background and the 1950 ladies in it. Otherwise I am currently working on more and will post them within the next week.

On a completely different note, all the kiddos here are all sick with RSV and Benjamin is the one they are most worried about. Many sleepless nights right now. Please pray for the return of health for the kiddos and for myself that I continue to have GRACE for my kids as I am exhausted and patience in waining! But so far, I am hoping that Leah is a little better today and that Benjamin will heal quickly!

These are just some samples of the many cool purses to come. These are on there way to Hula who is willing to sell these for me. HUGS TO HULA! Anyways between children, purses, homeschooling and sickness.... there just hasn't been a whole lot of blog time...but hopefully this will get better as I get more organzied.... So welcome to the first Designer bags... From Playfully Chic! Props to Hula for the name as well. I almost sent this purse to Amelia because it made me think of her website because of the color... You don't see it as well in this pic, but it is really an awesome color of pink.
Back to the old school look, but contemporary with the hello kitty print for a fun funky look for any little girl... (Bug bug has one of these)
These 2 are my FAV... and wish I could keep them for myself.... OHHHH I love the colors..The top one is the larger of the 2.
Pink with the 1950 ladies... just pure and simple fun!
This is a little bag for any day that you are just feeling a little spunky!
This Large tote/purse is actually mine that I use for my diaper/library bag..... adds a little spunk to being a momma!

Love Letter to My Wife...

Sydney-

Hey! Just wanted to post a quick note to let you know how completely in love I am with you. You are a fantasic woman and the Lord has truly blessed my life because of you. Without question, you are a gift from Him and evidence that He completely loves me beyond measure. You are doing a great job with Jake, Micker Mackers, Bug Bug and Benji. I don't always say it so I am saying it now... You are a super mother and you are doing a great job with teaching them.

It's been 8 and a half years (give or take a few months) and I am more in Love with you today than I was back then. How many guys could be fortunate enough to say that?

Have a good day... I love you very much Sparky.

Hearing problems...... eh???? What did you say?

After reading Hula's post today it trigger this post....

I had a major miss understanding at the Cheesecake Factory during my Hula visit. If you read my blog from yesterday you will understand what I am talking about. They serve "Road Side Sliders..... not SLAUGHTERS" !!!! Anyways.. it brought me back to when I was visiting a friend of mine for the first time at her house. She is this super sweet gal that is soft spoken, somewhat shy is just a sweetie... well anyways.. I thought they said their dogs name was HOOTER, so as we are talking I go, "Here HOOTER!" "Oh nice dog Hooter..." When my friend leans over in her quiet and soft voice and says...."Are you calling my dog HOOTER?
Thinking "DUH... it's his name.. I say.... Yeah.... only to have her inform me that her dogs name is COOTER...OH yeah that's right... Like the dog from the Dukes of Hazard. Let's just say I have an amazing ability to mix words up... Slider/Slaughter, and HOOTER/COOTER....

What can I say... I can't be perfect can I??????
At least I make people laugh....

HULA AWAY!!!!!!

Life has been so crazy between christmas and now the new year. We have just gotten back from the HULA'S! What a blast we had. I swear meeting Hula was like meeting a long last family member or friend. Saturday I woke up at 3:10 in the morning so that Ben, Benji and I could make it to the airport on time....3:10 in my book is just WRONG.... soooooo WRONG! I drag my weary butT out of bed get everything together and then we are off. Upon arriving at the airport I informed hubbster that I NEEDED a coffee so that I could just see straight! With caffine finally flowing through my veins I was ready to roll. Benji was the perfect little trooper and slept through all the security check points and the whole flight. Anyways we land in Denver, I the first stop is a restroom and then onto these rail/subway things that took us to the main terminal to pick up our luggage and meet HULA! As I climb on board the tell you to hold on so I reach for the pole as we literally SHOOT down this track..... I swear we were pulling some G's. Okay maybe not but it was fast..... Ben's eyes were the size of saucers! Anyways we jump off the railway and as we come up the escalator I see Hula.... I knew it was her the instant I saw her. Ben's already blogged about us not missing a beat. It was like we have been friends our whole lives. Denver was beautiful as we rolled through traffic with the sun bouncing off the majestic mountains.... BEAUTIFUL! Hula girl and Hula Boy are absolutly precious. Ben posted about us hanging out at the Red Rocks and as we are driving up Hula Boy from the back seat says ......"I think a dinosaur is sniffing us.... I don't like when dinosaurs sniff me!" Oh I hooted!!! He is such a corker! At the Red Rocks there are all these dinosaur prints in the rocks. Anyways he is so sweet. It was a great day and we finished it off with a gorgeous wedding. I love going to weddings where you know that the Lord is the center of the relationship! It is just awesome. Good times..... Again as Ben posted early on Saturday we had gone to the cheesecake factory and he is not lying about the portions. Now, it is a fancy place and as the waiter is telling us our options for food, he tell Hula Girl that she can have "ROAD SIDE SLAUGHTER" I'm like what????? and he goes on to say that they are 4 small hamburgers..... OKay... well as he leaves the table I say..."Man for I nice resteraunt I find it funny that they would name their after road kill..... to Hula Hubby. I am laughing and he kinda laughs and gives me a funny look... So I think okay I am the only odd ball that finds this humorous. Our food finally comes and the waitress says.... The "ROAD SIDE SLIDERS?????" OhHHHHHH The light bulb pops on! I start laughing... no wonder Hula Hubby gave me that are you for real look. So just so you all know they don't had road side slaughters.... its SLIIIDDDEERRSS! Anyways.. good laughs.
Sunday we got to meet The GENUINE family. Good times.... Hula, her sister-in-law and myself hung out, chatted, and made supper. I had such a wonderful time of fellowship and friends I can't even begin to describe it. The Hula's are hospitality with a capital H!!!!

I will have to keep you posted on my other venture that came out of this weekend... Hula has a whole business set up for me to start... hey if it all works out I will owe her big time!!!!

Anyways... kiddo's need me gotta run but it was an absolute blast and hula our slap happy times have my stomach still aching!!!!! so much fun!

Can't wait to come again.....Thanks again Hula!!!

Total randomness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow... 2006 .. Crazy.... The years just fly by...

I forewarn you all that this blog is a spewing forth of thoughts rumbling in my head..... Ready???

First off... the deaths of the international students just makes me stop and ponder what I am doing and what my focus is here on earth. So easily I am wrapped up into earth endeavors, and lose focus on the souls of people. My focus is being changed. I ache for the families that lost their children... for my husband who had to make such difficult phone calls, I ache because I don't know wether or not they knew our heavenly father.

My brother went in for an eye appointment and the doc thought that something looked not right behind his eye and sent him to a specialist and the specialist is ordering an MRI done so that the can decide if it is cell waste behind his eye or a brain tumor.... YIKES!!! WHAT!!! My brother can't have a brain tumor... he's my youngest brother and only 19 years of age! I will know more on Tuesday... so I pray that it is not a tumor and that if it is, that it is operable and not cancer. Fretting does no good, so I pray. Peace follows.

For christmas... I GOT....... Okay guess.... I mean this is SEWWWWWWWW COOOOL!

Yeppers... I got a brand new Sewing machine...... Shocked was I.... SHOCKED..... Tears came to my eyes.... (and I am not joking)!!!!! So the following pic is of a really cool purse that I can make in 4 differents sizes. It is so much fun. I used my new sewing machine of course..... This one is Kenzie jo's and Bug Bug is getting a "Hello Kitty" one!!! SEW much FUN!!!! I can't wait to finish up a couple of quilts I have in the making and I almost have finished cheniling my tree skirt! I am just giddy!

Love watching my kids at christmas... how awesome it is to see the excitement.... do you think God feels the same way when we recieve the gifts that he gives us..... When he see's our delight?
If he feels anything like I do as a parent it's just so neat. I love the fact that my kiddo's know that Jesus is the real reason for the season as well.

Took a pic of Benjeno' (Benjamin) tonight... I love watching them so peacefully sleeping. What a blessing. Growing fast.....I love the fat rolls on baby's legs... though I must say as sweet he looks here... I warn you... At a minimum of once a day he poops out the diaper either done the leg or up the back!..... Little stinker.... literally......

I should be washing laundry, taking down christmas, packing are bags for tomarrow and finishing my christmas gifts for this weekend but... I just wanted to blog.... Pretend there aren't a bizillion things I should be doing. Well I was going to blog more but bug bug is screaming upstairs... must go see what is wrong.....

Okay back... don't know what's been up with her lately.. she just starts screaming after she falls asleep at night and you can't console her.... it seems like her tummy hurts but when I ask her she just cries hard and then falls back to sleep. If she does snap out of it she says her tummy doesn't hurt... I hate not knowing what is causing it.....

Anyways...my mind is now about blank to tired to think more...maybe I'll go clean....
