Will somebody please just shoot me?

Sorry for the lack of posts.... life had been super ultra crazy!

First, this last weekend was birthday party weekend. It was great fun at my sisters house. I plan on posting pictures as soon as I get the time! I was going to post them as soon as we got home but.... I happend to get a breast infection... Yes people...I am sicker than a dog and feel absolutely horrible. I knew I had the breast infections, and so I called the doc office on tuesday and asked to talk to my doctor. I get told that SHE will not be in until Monday so I will have to talk to the doctor on call. Fine... So I talk to the doc on call, ask for a prescription, BUT because HE is not my family doctor, HE will not give me the prescription without seeing me. GREAT! So I get to load everyone up in the van, find someone to take care of the kiddo's so that I can go expose my boobs to some MALE doctor I don't know so that he can say does it hurt when I squeeze here, yes you have red streaking and your whole body is aching head to toe. You have a breast infection. NO DUH! I told your nurse that on the phone!. Oh well. I made it and now I am living on antibiotics and motrin and tylenol, so that I can take care of the kiddos and try to get some schooling done.

So to all my praying blogging buddies out there, please pray I continue to feel better and that my milk production increases again. Thanks to all who are willing to listen to my complaining.

Perverted Lady Bug….

I am so tired of these lady bugs that bite… Yes people they are everywhere! EVERYWHERE ….. including my BRA!
I am innocently sitting on the couch blogging of course, when this bug flies down my shirt lands on my cleavage and bites me!

I curse the brilliant people that decided they would get rid of the aphids on the crops by introducing these nasty Asian beetles… I call them lady bugs… because they look exactly like lady bugs except that they bite!

Brillant people…. Just brilliant! The moral of the story is don’t mess with God’s creation. He has it the way he wants it!!!!!!!!!

Is it only my kids?

So Mic and Jake are jumping on the trampoline this afternoon. No big deal right. RIIIGGHHHT! Jake comes running into the house in only in his UNDERWEAR! With a great big smile he comes screeching to a halt in the living room as he asks, “Mom, can we just jump in our underwear!” “NNOOOO!” I respond. We wear clothes when we are in public. The light goes out of his eyes, as he hangs his head and asks the proverbial “WHY?” I responded with, why wouldn’t we, and second it’s not warm enough out, so put your clothes back on. He starts slowly shuffling towards the door and then turns and says…. “But mom, it’s so refreshing!” As he heads out the door, I go look out the kitchen window to see Mic in only her underwear as well. I shake my heads as the start getting dressed.

So to everyone out there that feels like the need refreshing, find the closest trampoline, strip to you skivies and jump away. IT’S REFRESHING!

Too much…….

Motherhood!!!!

Just thought that I would touch base with everyone...

I am exhausted so if somthing on this blog doesn't make sense it's because my brain is fried.

Long day today.... full of unexpected unpleasant surprises.

So I just want to go to bed, but all I can think about is the fact that my inlaws are going to be here on Saturday and I still need to clean my house, get the bedding cleaned and fiqure out what meals to serve. They're great but I just feel like I need to have my house spotless when they come! So I feel overwhelmed, tired and just want to cry. It's been one of those days......

Tomarrow will be better! Has to be right?

Now if you are a GUY you won't want to read past this point for it involves female issues after having a baby. So you have been warned! If you don't like too much information "DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT!"

So today is soccer and art day. I was up at 7:15 this morning so that I could get everything together for what I knew was going to be a hectic day. I just didn't know exactly how hectic it was going to be.

So anyways... I get everyone dressed, bathed, and fed breakfast. I finish getting myslef ready, make sure I have everything in the diaper bag for Leah and Benjamin, make sure all the library books are in the bag for being returned. I pack up the colored pencils, books and something for Leah to do for art class. Check. In the bag and ready to go. Then I have to pack the lunches. You see, since soccer in from 11:30 until 1:00 a friend and I eat lunch at the college with our kids, all eight of them, and then go to art class from 2 until 3. I also do library this day because we are in town and I can pick up the supplemental reading for Jake and Mac's curriculm for the week. So I try to be out of the house by 10 so that we can do library before soccer. Anyways on with the story. Today I also need to stop by the bank and drop off a check. I get out the door around 10:15 and so I am already running late. I get to into town about a 20 min drive, and go to the bank. Deposit done. One thing off my list. At this point things are going pretty well. We are running late but I can still squeeze in the library. So we zip into a ten min parking space, unload the crew and head in. I return the books are the kids pick out some videos. Before I go any further I need to explain that the kid video's are on the first floor and I check them out there, and all the children books are on the second floor. I had also, through the online library system, had them put some books on hold for me so that I wouldn't have to try to find them today. Okay back to the story. So We go to the counter and check out the video's. Now I ask for the books I have on hold and the librarian looks for them and tells me that they must be upstairs. No big deal right? I still have to go up their and have the kids pick the books they want to check out! So we all head up the stairs... now picture a mother with 4 kids. One that will be 2 on Tuesday and another in a car seat struggling up the stairs as the 2 older ones head bound up the steps ahead of her. We get upstairs, pick out our books and I go to check them out and I can't find my card. I search everywhere. I had just used it downstairs and I could have swore I put it back in my purse. So I trek back downstairs with all 4 kids to find that I had forgotten it downstairs. Back up the stairs we trek, we check out our books, and again I ask about my books on hold. The librarian from UPSTAIRS, looks and me and briskly tells me that all hold are downstairs, NOT upstairs. So I trek BACK downstairs to Chat again with the librarian. Sure enough IT was THERE she just didn't see it the first time. I get the last of the books and haul everyone out to the van. Now remember I am already running late, but I am going to just make it to soccer on time. I back out of the parking spot, make it down 2 blocks when Mic pipes up from the backseat. "Mom I have to go the the bathroom really bad!" Oh how I wanted yell, we were just at a bathroom, why didn't you tell me sooner, but I held it together whipped into the McDonald's parking lot, ran the kids into the bathroom so that one of them could go to the bathroom. We scurry back into the van a race to the soccer field. Jake and Mac pile out to go practice, when I pull Benjamin from his car seat and nurse him in the van. Whew..... done nursing I head to the bleachers to watch the kiddo's play and let Leah run loose in the great out doors when it happened. Yes people all of a sudden I gush blood. It was like the hoover dam broke. Not knowing how bad the damage was I weighed my options. There is a port a potty by the soccer field and I did have another pad in the van so.... I stand up slowly and head back to the van with Leah and Benjamin. During the walk I can feel things going where they shouldn't and I knew that I was in TROUBLE! I grab the fresh pad and off Leah and I go to the port a potty. We get inside, Yes Leah and I in a port a potty. I surveyed the damage. Through the underwear and all over the jeans. Man what am I going to do. I still have lunch and art and no more pads other than the one I have in my hands. To make matters worse Leah has a stuffed Lamb she brings everywhere and she was going to set her down in the port a potty so I am holding her lamb by my teeth so that it doesn’t touch anything as I am trying to clean up the mess I have. Then Leah starts crying because she is being attacked by all these lady bugs and I am getting bit by them on my legs and arse. I mean seriously. So Leah is screaming, I’m getting bit, and I still don’t know what I am going to do. After doing the best that I can with what I had, we exit the pot, and I head over to where my friend is and ask her is she would survey the damage and if she could tell. She said it was minimal but still I hate feeling like everyone can see. Soccer ends….. I load the kids and head to the eating area inside the school. We sit down to eat and when Ben joined us I headed to the bathroom to get a pad. Of course no pad dispenser. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! What girls bathroom on a college campus doesn’t have a pad dispenser! So I head to the bookstore to see if I can find some cheaper sweats to change into. Thankfully I did find some and I headed to another bathroom to at least get into something not bloody. I slip in and wow it had a pad dispenser! HURRAY! I insert the quarter, turn the dial and click. I wait……. Nothing drops…… IT’S EMPTY!!!!!!! So I slip into the pants, go and pack the kids up from eating their meal and head out for art class. I stop by a gas station pick up some pads, go to art. Finally I feel somewhat human again. I was supposed to go grocery shopping afterwards but I came home…. I was exhausted! I got home at about 4 and crashed!

So my friends….. I am tired and don’t even want to think about what I have to do tomarrow! But it has to be better than today!!! Doesn't it?

I see London, I see France, I spy something in your underpants

Let me set the scene for you. It is Saturday night and we are getting the kiddos ready for bed. Jake’s in the tub, Leah’s in her Dora Dora pajama’s and ready for bed, when Mic comes out of the bathroom complaining that her butt hurts. I am nursing Benjamin so I send her over to dad. Dad takes a peek at her bum, and finds a dolly sock in her butt crack. “What in the world” he exclaims! Looks at me and says, “How do you get dolly socks in your underpants?.”
Now Mic is quite bashful and was already embarrassed that Dad was looking at her butt, and then to have the doll sock discovered was almost devastating for her. Tears were threatening to spill because she was embarrassed. Holding his mirth, Dad upon further investigation, finds that she has a rash on her rear. Now Mic has really dry skin so I told her to go get the lotion out of the bathroom so dad can lotion her bum and get everything feeling better. With lotion in hand she bends over Dad fixes the problem when we notice that her pj’s and underwear are wet. How this happened we do not know but, told her she needed to change into something dry. She pulls off her wet underwear and to our surprise, out falls, 2 doll hairbrushes, 1 doll comb, a book (little one for little dolls) and the doll sock from before! Stunned Ben exclaims “What the Heck!” as everything tumbles to the floor. Oh how we tried to not laugh but to no avail as both Ben and I bust into laughter. I mean whose butt wouldn’t hurt with that in their pants. The bad thing is that Mic is so sensitive that the tears of embarrassment began. Ben and I pulled ourselves together and explained that we were sorry we laughed at her.
After we apologized, dad tucked her into bed. Sitting down beside me on the couch, Ben starts to laugh again and ask what would possess her to do such a thing. I told him I figured she has natural spying instincts and is already working on her smuggling skills!

A day of firsts!

Yes today was an interesting day. I am exhausted so this is all you get. Hopefully in a week or two I will be back in full blogging form.

Today was a day of firsts,

1. I managed to get 4 children ready and out the door on time to go to the kids soccer lessons, with lunches packed. ( I even got a shower and a little makeup on)
2. I fit into a pair of jeans one week after delivery. (Fat jeans but jeans none the less)
3. Managed to get all the library books back to the library! (Every single one!)
4. Got out of paying 1 weeks worth of late fines on 4 movies and 1 dvd that were late to the library! (Yes they took the charges off my account when I told them I had a baby one week ago)
5. Nursed in a gymnasium full of people! (NEVER done this one before)
6. My son was crying in his bed because he couldn’t fall asleep and he REALLY REALLY wanted to go to sleep! THIS NEVER NEVER HAPPENS!

Update on my Cousin Megan…..I was miss informed. Tuesday was her consultation with the doc. Upon further examination they are not even sure if it is for sure Cancer. Praise God! It has been my prayer that he would heal her or have them be mistaken in their diagnosis. But we will not know for sure on whether or not it is cancer until next week. I will keep you all posted. I thank you all for the prayers.
