And then there were 4!

“Please, Please…. I beg of you, let me stay!” The women pleaded.

“I’m sorry mam but you have no reason to stay. “Now please sign here.”

“I promise you won’t even know I am here.” “Just give me one more night!”

Seeing that they were unmoved by her impassioned plea, the woman finally relents and takes the extended pen and signs………. “The Release Papers”.

Pulling herself together she gathers her stuff and heads to the door with a large tear spilling down her cheek. Down the hall, to the elevator. BING! The doors open and she’s escorted in.

Yep everybody I have been released from hospital. I know this sounds completely insane but oh how I wanted to stay just one more day! No kids needing mom, meals catered to your bed. Every couple of hours someone asking if you need something to drink. And ah… the sleep. Except for the nightly and daily feedings, I could sleep at anytime. Trust me after a 13 hour labor, this was most needed. In one way it is nice to be home but with three other children needing mom I could have used one more day with no responsibility other than feeding and tending Benjamin!

But the real world was waiting. On a more series side, I am doing well other than feeling exhausted and sore. The kids love Benjamin and are lovin' him up. I hoping this weekend to catch a few more zzzzz’s and of course catch up with everyone else’s blogs!

If you haven’t been to my hubbsters site, jump over to MIM and check out the pictures! Thanks to everyone that was so gracious about the way I looked! You are all SWEETIES! It made me feel good! :[)

I have a major prayer request. Along with the Joy of new life, and bringing Benjamin home, when I got home I had a message from my mom stating that my cousin Megan has been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer! She is only 24 years old and we are all super close. It’s like my sister being diagnosed. Tuesday she goes in for surgery to remove her thyroid and then I think she is going to be doing some treatment through pills. I haven’t gotten all the information yet but she is in school for her masters and she is also teaching at the university! Please pray that the cancer is just in her thyroid and that she will feel good while going through her treatment regiment! Also my grandmother was in and got a stint put in and was feeling good, but had chest pain again last night and is in the hospital again! They are thinking that it may just be medicine related but are going to see how it goes overnight!

I am thankful that I have you all out there that I know will be praying for my family! In advance thank you so much.

Anyways…. I will try to post again on Monday….. if not before!

Back from Blogger block

It has been forever since I posted, I know, I know.... I should post everyday! But what do you do when you have bloggers block? Well Thankfully I think I am back and have some blogging ideas.

First I will put your minds to rest and let you in on the dog chasing scenario. Buddy...... our dog is starting to chase our van when I leave the yard. He will actually runs right in front on the van, impeading my leaving which tics me off! So the other day he starts playing with me again and I had had enough! I yanked the wheel to the right, right at him.... at this point I don't care if I hit him either because maybe he would learn a few things, but anyways back to the chasing.

I break a hard right, from our driveway unto the lawn. Whipping in a complete 360 I follow the mangy mutt as I begin to see the panic build in his eyes. For good measure we circle on more time staying on his tail honking the horn.

I must let you know that during this time Jake and Mac are shouting whoo hoo! Go mom! From the backseat totally enjoying this experience.

Thinking I have taught our dumb dog a lesson I staighten the wheel and head out the drive way. Darn thing still came out of the woods and chased my down the road. IDIOT!

Anyways hubbster comes home that night and is looking out the kitchen window when he does a double take and states, "I think someone drove on our lawn." You should have seen his expression when I calmly stated. "Yeah it was me." It was priceless.

This "dog" (said with disgust) of ours has turned this Dog lover into a dog hater. He had chewed our phone lines off the outside of our house twice, and almost a third time but I caught him in the act when I drove in the yard, destroyed a friends bike seat, is mean to the cats, and has now jumped onto both our car and van making huge scratch marks! I mean I am ticked! He's destroying our vehicles, oh and he is digging at the foundation of our house making big holes that the water sits in and then ruins the foundation of our house. We have tried shock collars, slapping his nose, burying his own POOP in these holes and he STILL continues to dig at the house! This one dog has converted me to a cat lover! We have 2 outside, the are adorable, they love being held and are fun to watch play with each other. They don't leave large craps for my kids to walk through and they are so mellow. Buddy rams the kids over jumping all over them and scratching them. OH.... How I could go on and on and on......... I really actually think I hate this dog which has never happened to me before.

Anyways enough of my dog sorrows... please be praying that baby comes soon. I am sooooooo Ready to be done!

I like it NAKED!!!!

I am so weird when it comes to certain things.

Take for example Cake... I like it naked. I don't care if it's chocolate cake, angel food cake, yellow cake or white cake. I like it naked. No need for frosting, just give me the yummy deliciousness of moist fluffy baked goodness.

I also like my rice krispy bars naked. Yep, no frosting and no carmel in the middle - just Naked.

Another is the Special K bars we make in our family..... Yep you guessed it....naked naked naked. Frosting just ruins the treat beneath.....

So my question is to all who read this blog.....

Are you a naked or nonnaked person when it comes to dessert!

X*&%@# and then some ...... I'm Grumpy:-(

Today is just a day…. In fact I am doing my best to stay positive and not want to just run away from it all. Not only did the kiddo’s not go to sleep until late last night, and by late I mean 10:30 to 11:00 at night. Yes my kids are normally in bed asleep by 8 to 8:30 at the latest. So I am thinking they will sleep in some this morning. Nope…. Didn’t happen. 7:30 kid’s are out of bed and crying already because they are so over-tired. Someone didn’t get the right kind of cereal, and I gave one the wrong bowl they wanted the green one, and Leah was just a down right crab! Then to top it off while I am dealing with my childrens outbursts I get a call from the phone company telling me that we aren’t going to be able to get High speed internet access. SURPRISE….. SURPRISE…… It was the final straw this morning. I mean 3 calls from them telling us that it was going to work, and then to be shot down. It wasn’t like we were hunting them down. THEY CALLED US! Am I shocked????????? NO! But it still SUCKS!. A word of advice for stupid phone companies…….. DON”T CALL ME OFFERING ME SOMETHING YOU CAN’T GIVE ME! But I refrained from any negative comments and politely said….. “Well that’s shocking,” and hung up the phone. I am so done with you phone company, and if I get a call in couple of months offering high speed internet again I will let them know exactly what I think! Come on…. Don’t call me 3 times telling me that all is well and good and that you made changes that will allow us access to high speed.

(Grace…I must think.... Grace…… Breathe in …… Breathe out……..)

Anways after that lovely start it was on to school. I made it through it with a better attitude than I thought I was going to have and now everyone is going down for naps!

50 hours and counting.......

Yes all out there in the blogger world I am so Excited….. Wednesday somewhere between 1-5 pm. (Central time) (Just in case someone out there didn’t know what time zone I am in…… J) I will have HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET! Can I say DANCING IN THE STREETS NAKED HAPPY! I am so tired of waiting…. And waiting… and WAITING for everyone’s blogs to come up so that I can post. Even for myself I need a minimum of an hour to post a blog due to the slowness of our dial up internet!

I am singing… OH Happy day….. O Happy DAAYYY! I am dancing, and leaping for joy.

My joy and dancing is slightly dampened due to the fact that they did tell me that if for some reason I wouldn’t be able to receive this service that I would get a call from the phone company stating that they thought we were be able to receive this service, but upon further review we are too far out. OH, OH, OH, how that would smart. You see, hubbster and I tried to get this service when we first moved into this house back in January. Obviously, it didn’t work. So we get this call from the rep from our phone company asking if we want this service around August 28th. We ask… has it changed for we have already tried to receive this service and it was unsuccessful. He ASSURES us that we will be eligible for this service. After asking a bunch of questions, they record our phone call and tell us that someone will call in the next few days to set up a time to hook up our service.

A couple days turns into a week and then some. So I call the phone company just to make sure we are still on the list and that hopefully they had been trying to contact us while I was online or when I had no phone service due too our dumb dog chewing off the phone lines on the outside of the house…. (NOT GOOD, If I would have had a gun he would have been dead… second time he has done this and I was a very ticked off prego lady that wanted to blog and had no phone) Anyways… Back to the story at hand. I push a zillion buttons so that I can finally talk to the sales lady and she claims she has no record of us signing up for that service. I am thinking… You’re kidding me right? I tell her that the phone conversation was recorded and everything. Nope… no luck. So we go through the whole 30 process again, BUT this time I get a confirmation number and the day that they are coming.

So as you can see I am so excited but leery of whether or not it will actually come to be. When I have to call them about coming to my house AFTER they should have already had me in their system…… UMMMMM, I am thinking it might not happen…. But until I receive the devastating call telling me I am stuck with dial up I am going to dance and sing and rejoice for faster technology!

The wedding Photo's

Whew..... I think I am finally starting to get back into the swing of things... Thought I would share a few of the pics from the wedding with you! We had a great time with family and are just so excited for Tom and Annie!
Enjoy the pics!
This is crazy uncle Scotty holding Jake's and behind him is my youngest brother Nate! The 3 stoogies about sums it up! Scott is my sisters husband.

Here's Mic Mac with her cousin Micah. Isn't he a doll! Smelling the fake flowers! I'm sure they smelled beautiful. :-)

Awwww..... the Bride and Groom. Yep people, my brother is one happy happy man! It's was so fun. I was sitting in the sanctuary when Annie walked in in her dress and my brother was sitting up front waiting for her, and his expression was pricless. Grinning from ear to ear he says. "Wow" "Man does she look beautiful!" as he stands to greet his bride. I don't think he even knew that he made the comment. It makes my heart sing, to know that he is so in love with his bride! By the way... my brother is about 6'2" and as broad as can be..... I am the runt..... 5'4" or so, the rest of my brothers are all over 6". I have 3.

This is my younger sister Katie with Mic Mac....... she took Kenzie with her in the morning to get their hair done together. She is SUCH a GREAT AUNTIE! People say that we look alike.... I guess we and don't all at the same time.

Again... Micah man, with the Mic Mac... these cousins love being together. Micah and Jake were the ring bears and Stacia....Micah's sister and Kenzie were the flower girls. I had trouble getting a good pic of the 2 girls together! Stacia is in the background of this one.

And the bug with her sister! She had a long day hanging out with daddy while mommy ran around being in pictures and making sure Jake and Mac were where they were suppose to be. It was a great day with lots of fun memories!
